We will try to put new painting tips on You Tube at least once a week. If you search for Sue or Susan Scheewe you will find three postings. One with Santa Claus and two that are painting tips. Each tip is less than a minute and one deals with rocks and the other is on Queen Ann's Lace. Leave comments or suggestions for us because we do want to hear from you.

Hi Susan
Glad to see you doing Youtube. I just viewed all 3. You were having too much fun with Santa!
Here in Michigan, Queen Ann's Lace is considered a wild weed. I've always thought they were pretty. Next year I am going to see if I can collect some seeds and then grow them in my flower bed.
Our Detroit PBS just stopped showing your series. Will you be doing more? The Create channel has started showing them again so that's great.
Love your work and I've learned so much from you.

I would love tips on how you paint wave action in your water scenes. Thanks for your teaching efforts. Through your videos and books I've learned much.
Your style of painting doesn't collapse under the weight of infinite realistic detail, but celebrates shape and color in a way that makes painting exciting. Thanks again Mrs. Scheewe. I needed a good teacher and you are it.

Hello Sue, So great to see your things and your blog. Wonderful photos. We are heading to Puerto Vallerta on Feb. 14, 2010, and hope to do some serious photos and sketches. I'm still teaching Scheewe art in my home studio and loving it and you. Hugs, Carol

Hi Sue - I've been thinking of you a lot lately, as I have finally succeeded in making art a priority in my life. Watercolor has become my passion, and I specialize in portraits. I won an Honorable Mention in my first competition in the fall. I just put up my website, and thought you might enjoy having a look at what I've been doing: http://www.marywykes.com
Thank you for all the inspiration you were to me back in 2005!
