We have just returned from a fast five day trip to the East Coast. As you can see from the picture we were about one week early for the vivid colors we wanted to see. Sue taught a couple of days at the Providence, Rhode Island convention center before we spent the following three days sightseeing. We always enjoy seeing our many friends at the conventions. At this show we did not have a booth, but we did enjoy our visits with many exhibitors, friends and students. The show was smaller than last year, but was very attractive to the attendees.
Ros Stallcup joined us as she wanted to tour the area and see the beautiful fall foliage, sea shore, grand shops and harbors
Stan had his camera in hand and Ros not far behind to take reference photos. The first day was to Sandwich, Ma. and route 6A which had a charming grist mill.
The mill was picture perfect with great little shops along the road to Cape Cod. Fall leaves were falling gracefully in the breeze. We found some swans waithing to be photographed in a roadside lake and shops and homes decorated for Halloween soon to come.
The following day we set off to see the most picturesque Rockport Harbor.
The harbor with the famous red shack on the point which like everyone, we had to photograph. We found more great shops, charming galleries, lobster and good friendship
Making a full day trip we headed to Ogunquit, Maine, what a delightful surprise. Ogunquit has ever so many shops and some gallieries, great bakery and a pristine sandy beaches. We had an excellent dinner at Barnacle Billy's and we spent the night.
From Ogunquit we headed north to Kennebunkport.
So many shops and great photo spots we wish we had more time to see them all. A great lunch on the dock, time to do some shopping but we would have loved to had one more day or two before we headed back to Providence and on our way home again and Ros off to Virginia Beach. Special memories shared again.

Looks like a beautiful trip.

Hi Sue, great photos. Your shows are being aired on creat-tv in N.Y. They are repeats, but people are enjoying them. I teach at AC Moore and have been telling and sharing your techniques. They are starting to purchase your supplies. I do hope you continue to do more shows. All the best to you and your family.
Regards
Joan

Hi Susan - go glad you could visit our beautiful land here in New England. You got some beautiful pictures. I wish we could see some of your classes, old or new, on TV but can't seem to find them. You are the best, I can honestly say, you have taught me alot and I am new at it. Thanks again.
