In November, we went to Detroit to film a new series for the PBS television stations and also to be aired on the Create Channel. Check with your local station for a time to see the Scheewe Art Workshop.
This is Sue's floor manager, Fred. He is a retired policeman with the the Detroit Police Force. He does a great job of keeping Sue aware of her time.
This picture has Sue with Dawn Knowles, the producer of Scheewe Art Workshop.
The photos are of filming during the series. Stan takes the still shots for the shows and I realize we need to get him in more photos with me as he is always there to give me support.

Hi Sue,
My name is Joan Sicignano. I am an artist who has been a long time fan. I live on Long Island. I haven't seen your show on the Create tv schedule in NY. I hope it will be aired soon. Thanks for your dedication. Joan

Hello Sue,
I am looking for a certain book that I took a class of yours from. It was a number of years ago, I got very sick and couldn't finish the class. I really want to finish the painting, but I can't find the book. It is a landscape with a cottage by the ocean. Very beautiful painting, but I don't know the title of the book. Is there a way you can help? If I send you a picture of the unfinshed painting, you might be able to tell which one it is. It is almost finished. Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

Sue, I have watched your show for years and love your techinques of painting. You have inspired me to paint more than you will ever know. I would love to paint with you some time but live in Kansas. I have studied with Jerry Yarnell for about 2 years and love his work. I just want to learn more about watercolor and acrylic. I still work full time but want to retire and "just" paint. Have always wanted to teach painting and share the true joy of painting and the wonderful fun and the trip of learning. Nothing bring me so much happiness as a time to paint. If ever in Kansas please let me know. Karen, art in the heartland. Independence, Kansas

Susan,
I've seen your beautiful painting shows on pbs and noticed you do paint little birds once and awhile. Have you ever painted exotic birds such as cockatoos or macaws? If so do you sell videos of that? Or would you consider painting one of those birds on one of your shows? If so would you let me know the time and date of the shows airing? Or if you sell any videos of that? I have those kind of birds and they are my babies and I think they are so beautful and would love to know how to paint them but I can't find anyone who does so when I happened to run across your show I thought just mabey! Please let me know via email! Thanks!

I watch your show on the local PBS channel and have been able to buy your products at both Michael's and Hobby Lobby until recently. Now, neither of them are carrying anything of yours. Is there a place in OKC, OK, where I can purchase paints, brushes, books, paper, etc?
Thanks for your reply

Dear Susan, I'm trying to find the book that has your Iris instruction in it. I caught your TV show one morning when you were painting them, but I can't seem to find the right book....I have two Grand Daughters that shows great promise as a painter and I need to get some good instruction books for them and me ! I love to watch you paint and I'm getting a little more courage to try and paint. Please HELP!

Hi Sue,
Recently I have noticed that hobby lobby and michales does not carry your products any longer. Will you be bringing out a new line of products or are you no longer going to have a line of products.

Thank you for your inquiry. We do still carry and have all the Sue Scheewe products, they are just no longer available in Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Many items can be ordered through our web site, we will be adding paint to our web site shortly but we do carry paint as well.

SHARON AND I (CUSTOM WOOD PRODUCTS) CHASED TOLE PAINTING CONVENTIONS FOR OVER 20 YEARS FROM SAN DIEGO TO PITTSBURGH. I LEFT THE BUSINESS WHEN SHE PASSED. I'VE BEEN IN THE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS SINCE. NEVER REMARRIED (TOO UGLY I GUESS). JUST WANTED TO SAY "HI". SHALOM ALEICHEIM

Bill,
It is wonderful to hear from you. I did see Bill and Brenda last year in Wichita. I know your ears had to be burning. Stay well and let us hear from you.

Hi Sue,
I have just begun to watch Create and your show. I cannot tell you how much I look forward to watching each day. I am inspired to begin painting once again. Thanks for all your hard work to keep the program going.

I too are like many that have been looking for your brushes. No where to be found. Actually I found one place and the shipping was as much as the brush itself? Maybe it has to be that way. Love your watercolor. Watch it on OK public tv.
